Cotswold Careline – 24 hour emergency monitoring & contact service
It’s alright to admit when you need a little more support, either for you or someone close to you…
Don’t burden yourself with the worry of how you’ll cope, when help is so readily available.
With round the clock access to a trained operator, Cotswold Careline offers peace of mind, providing reassurance and getting you the help you need.
Originally established by the Cotswold District Council more than 25 years ago, it is now run by the Forest of Dean District Council alongside its pre-existing service supporting vulnerable people, Forest Linkline .
How it works:
The alarm unit is installed in the individuals’ home and plugged into a telephone/electrical socket, while the individual is given a pendant which can be worn around the neck or wrist and works around the home or garden.
In the event of an emergency, a situation that causes distress or the individual simply needs a little assurance, the pendant can be pressed which will trigger a call to our monitoring centre via the Cotswold Careline alarm box where trained personnel will respond appropriately, getting the individual the help needed, whether it’s reassurance, a call to a nominated contact or requesting attendance from the emergency services if necessary.
Cotswold Careline also offers a range of peripheral products such as KeySafes, Falls Detectors, Panic Buttons, etc., to suit the individuals’ needs and requirements.
